The LUnch bunch returns on friday, december 2

With COVID requirements hopefully behind us we hope to restart Lunch Bunch.  Plan to join us for Lunch Bunch on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 12:30 p.m.   For prior attendees, please note the time change. 

Thanks to the continuing hospitality of Diane Hammer we will be dining at Stonebridge Country Club whose clubhouse has been beautifully remodeled.  Stonebridge is located at 2100 Winding Oaks Way, Naples FL 34109.  Directions are simple:  the entrance to Stonebridge is off Immokalee Road about half-way between I-75 and US-41 on the south side of Immokalee Road.  Look for the signs.

Diane has worked with the catering staff of the club and they have come up with the following choices:

Grilled Black Angus Beef Burger – with lettuce, tomato, sliced red onion on a toasted brioche bun.  Choice of fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, fresh fruit or slaw.                                                                  

               Shrimp Basket – panko crusted gulf shrimp with fries and coleslaw.

Brie & Berry Salad – grilled chicken, fresh berries, apples, brie, dried cherries, candied pecans,  organic greens with your choice of dressings.

               Grilled Jumbo Hot Dog – 1/3 lb. frankfurter, served on a toasted bun plus cup of chili.

Philly Cheese Steak Sub – shaved prime rib of beef, caramelized onions, bell peppers, and    melted provolone cheese on a hoagie roll.

Florida Grouper Sandwich – with lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce on toasted brioche bun.   Choice of fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, fresh fruit or slaw.

Also included will be coffee, iced tea, and soft drinks.    There will also be cookies for your sweet tooth.  Alcoholic drinks can be purchased at the bar; credit cards only.   The Club’s staff will take your orders when you’re at the event; it’s not necessary to choose your meal when you RSVP.

Cash (exact change please) or Venmo to Kent Conwell at the door. Someone will even win a U of I item.
